We created a garden office together with an extension and ground floor reconfiguration of the house that responds to the Conservation area in general as well as the historic value of the property itself as a Conservation strategy.

Rear extension and Garden Office
Concept:
To create an open plan space integrated to the garden and the garden office beyond, forming a fully integrated unity. The design reinterprets the perimeter walls of the old Spencer House that 2 Martindale used to form part of. The idea of the perimeter brick wall turning in and forming the garden room allowed us to contribute to consolidate the historic memory of the site.
