The Lake House
We modernised this Brutalist house built in the early 1970s in Esher, Surrey, UK. Our approach was informed by conservation; respecting the external fabric of the building, restoring the internal spaces, reinstating elements and features that have been lost through the years. The fabric of the house was brought up to modern standards – for fire, acoustics, waterproofing and thermal insulation – while respecting the building’s external appearance.
